Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs is undergoing a limited capacity, phased reopening with new enhancements and the same beloved legendary healing waters. Ojo Caliente is a hot spring, restaurant, and spa located about 45 minutes north of Santa Fe. For 100-plus years, Ojo Caliente guests bathed in the bathhouses rather than in their hotel rooms, and we’ve kept this tradition alive. Crews responded to the fire that destroyed the bathhouse at Ojo Caliente mineral springs at about 8 p.m. Since then, several of our buildings have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Mission revival-style Historic Hotel, which dates back to 1917. Travelers and seekers have long journeyed to our naturally hot, healing waters, and in the 1800s, Ojo Caliente became one of the nation’s first natural health resorts.
